To help prevent sparks from igniting the combustible gas produced by some batteries, the negative "-" cable should be connected from the external power source to the negative "-" terminal of the starting motor. If the starting motor is not equipped with a negative "-" terminal, please connect the cable to the cylinder block.
When the charging device is working, do not disconnect the battery from the charging device circuit or the battery circuit cable, otherwise the flammable gas produced by the battery may be ignited by sparks.

Out-of-control circuits can cause damage to the bearing journal surface and aluminum components of the crankshaft.
Engines without the engine-to-frame grounding strap may be damaged by electrical discharge.
In order to ensure that the engine and the engine electrical system work normally, the engine-to-frame grounding strap directly connected to the battery must be used. This direct connection can be achieved by directly connecting the engine ground wire to the frame.
The ground connection should be compact and free of corrosion. The engine alternator must be grounded to the negative "-" terminal of the battery through a wire that can withstand its full charge current.
The power connection and ground connection of the engine should be led out from the battery isolator.
